time
taking the time to spend with your kids or taking the time to do the laundry. It all takes time, and motivation. I am having spurts of motivation. In the midst of a spurt I have taken on more than I should. I decided to clean my coffee maker. Then I decided since one was clean I should clean the other one. Well it took forever to finish the second one. (I know what your thinking, who needs 2 coffee pots right?) When the laundry is done, and the dishes are done, and I have a meal plan I feel so much better. I have the motivation to do more laundry and dishes, and make the meals. Funny how that spiral works. But its also funny how it just a few hours of laziness can blow it all up. Then it takes so much time to get spinning again. I need help starting my circle. Maybe some ring around the rosy will work.

Morning Routine
My morning routing is designed to make me not lazy, and make me motivated to be productive for the day. When I start right, things move in a good direction. So what is my morning routine?
1. Make the bed
2. Kids milk
3. Enjoy a cup of coffee
4. Make breakfast
5. Check email/calendar
6. Drink a glass of water
7. Check my reminder daily journal for daily tasks
MMmm just thinking about the enjoyment of a cup of coffee makes me happy. I am usually watching some toddler cartoon while enjoying that cup, but that's okay.
My daily tasks are simple right now, just to start out and hopefully they will grow as I grow. For example, today is Monday, my calendar should say Home Time, and my reminder journal should tell me to change and take out all the garbage in the house and do a load of laundry. I have a load in the dryer now, and I need to get going on the garbage. That being said, I have things to do, and that all for now...

Routines
My evening routine makes me happy. I am not sure about why, but it does. Not while I am doing it, but in the morning when I wake up and can just push one button to make my coffee, and a clean sink. *Sigh* just thinking about it right now makes me at peace. Weird I know. So what is my evening routine?
1. I prepare my coffee maker with my coffee for the morning.
2. I clean my sink, and wipe down the kitchen counters.
3. I make my husbands lunch.
4. I fill my dog's bowls.
5. I prep my phone, whether that is putting it on charge or just turning it off.
6. I fill my water cup for the night.
Why do these specific things? To give "blessings" to each of my family members, even the dog. When I bless others it makes me feel good. That is the nature of life. I like the reward it gives. I am a sinful woman and I like making myself feel better about myself. But it also gives me peace so that I can sleep. Peace of mind that things are in order. Control is a struggle of mine, so calling it peace and order helps me think of it not in my control.
I have never been a person of routine, but I am loving and thriving on it. Am I just getting older? or have I just changed, like our taste buds are supposed to change every so often. Not sure which, but I like it. I have only been doing this set of routines for 2 weeks. I know 2 weeks is not a long time, but when I was first married for 2 weeks I wanted it to last for ever, I want this to last forever too. Not only for me, but I want to teach my children too. As long as they can be productive and happy with something like this, I want it to be a lesson they learn from me.
Thats all I got for now...
